Chickens of the egg direction of ISA productivity
ISA Brown and ISA White laying type hens were bred for industrial breeding in poultry farms.
History: ISA stands for InstitutdeSélectionAnimale. The company launched an egg cross in 1978. In 1997, the ISA Group merged with Merck & Co. forming the Hubbard ISA.
Advantages of genotype:

- age of the first peak of productivity is 144 days;
- the average weight of eggs is 63.1 g;

Exterior: Light skeleton, with a small head. The crest is low and massive. Earrings and crest of deep red color. Pink lobes. The neck is long, covered with a well-developed feather. Eyes are orange-red. Th beak is short and yellow. The body frame is placed almost vertically. The back is straight. The tail is narrow but well developed. Weight of hens is1,5-1,7 kg, roosters no more than 2 kg. The plumage is brown or white depending on the cross.
Features of keeping: easily adapts to conditions of cage and floor keeping. Feels good on the range.
