Compound feed is the basis of the diet for farm animals, the products of which in turn are consumed by people. Plus, on January 19, 2020, the Law of Ukraine “On Food Safety and Hygiene” came into force in Ukraine. Therefore, the feed industry is obliged to implement the ISO 22000 Standard – “Food Safety Management Systems. Requirements for the organization involved in the food chain”, combining the requirements of ISO 9001 and HACCP principles. Certification is not required.
Therefore, all compound feed and premix GranulaGold production facilities are certified according to ISO 22000: 2018 (compound feed plants) and FSSC 22000 (premix plant NOVACORE).
Once a year, all compound feed and premix GranulaGold production facilities are audited, during which they assess chemical, biological, physical risks and compliance with 7 HACCP principles.

The presence of a successful HACCP audit indicates that the products are:

• safe. That is, one that does not have a detrimental effect directly on animal health, indirectly on humans. All products manufactured in a factory which is certified in accordance with the requirements of ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000 do not contain mycotoxins, heavy metals and other substances, hazardous combinations or exceeding the maximum permissible content of substances in the finished product;
• quality. That is, the claimed recipe is true, and the indicators of nutritional and energy value, the ratio of the components of the recipe is optimal for the health of farm animals. So for the products that people get from them (milk, meat, eggs);
